President

Chris brings her experience in mining, chemical processes, project management, human resources and business management to Adirondack Mechanical.

Randy Edgerly

Vice President

Randy has over twenty-five years of experience in the construction industry. He served 6 years in the Construction Battalion of the US Navy before becoming a Union Millwright.

    • Pulp and Paper Facilities
    • Cement Facilities

Daniel J. McCarty, P.E.:

Project Manager

Dan joined the Adirondack Mechanical Services, LLC team in 2014. He brings extensive knowledge of civil/structural construction in the hydro turbine industry.

  • Project design and management experience in industrial, commercial and general construction since 1994
  • Specialized experience in building construction and hydroelectric operations
  • Professional Engineer; Licensed in New York and Vermont
  • B.S. Civil Engineering; Pennsylvania State University

Nicholas Waite:

Project Manager

Nick has been a Project Manager for Adirondack Mechanical Services, LLC since 2012.

  • Focuses on construction management in the cement industry and manufacturing facilities.
  • Past experience in General Construction.
  • B.S in Sustainable Construction Management and Engineering from the State University of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse NY

Peter Bean:

Project Manager

Peter is a Civil Engineer focusing on construction and maintenance projects for the industrial and heavy-civil markets in Northern New York. He brings nearly 20 years experience in structural design and construction management.

  • Extensive experience in NYS Canal Lock rehabilitations
  • Specializes in Civil and structural repairs to hydro turbines
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Clarkson University
  • B.A. in Computer and Information Science, SUNY Potsdam

Oliver Buck:

Project Manager

Ollie has 30 years of experience in turbine-generator rebuilds and installation, Industrial machine installation, conveyor installation, rigging and all aspects of millwright work. His has worked as a Millwright Field superintendent for 10 years, a Project Manager and Safety Coordinator for another 15 years. Ollie is based in Northern New York and manages projects for various manufacturing facilities, hydro turbines and state work.

Jim Baker

Project Manager

Educated at Hudson Valley Community College and Wichita State University, Jim is a valuable part of AMS, with nearly thirty years of experience in Heavy Industry as a Millwright Journeyman including:

  • Paper and Tissue Mills
  • Power Plants
  • Hydroelectric Projects
  • Cement Plants
  • Certified Welder and Master Rigger

Jim has been working in a management capacity for the past 24 years and has run several large and high-visibility projects from design to start-up.

Tim Dillon

Project Manager

Tim has nearly twenty years of experience as a Project Manager. This includes:

  • Intimate knowledge of the chemical process and manufacturing industry
  • Running multi-million dollar projects from the design phase, through construction and start-up
  • BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
